Had it not been for your generosity, I may still very well be homeless and struggling to land on my my feet after my mother’s death. Impact and Edify helped these three young ladies all Graduates of Kent State Fashion School, one of the top 3 fashion schools in the world, move to New York City and help to fulfill their dreams of working at top fashion labels such as Ralph Lauren, Aeropostale and more.
Impact & Edify later help support these young ladies navigate the COVID 19 Pandemic after New York City was devastated by death and job loss.
Single mom who who found herself homeless following the devastation left by a Hurricane in New Orleans LA. Determined to improve her and her daughter’s situation she is now balancing her time as a Medical Assistant, while actively pursing a nursing degree.
This young lady is a graduate of Ohio State University, where she majored in Social Work. She currently resides in Columbus Ohio as well as works for the City of Columbus. During her time of need she had been laid off and had just landed her new position when she had to make an unplanned and emergent move out of her apartment. She was strapped for cash as result of being out of work for a period of time and barely managing to maintain her bills. The sudden move left her in a very tight spot. Impact and Edify helped her move and also assisted her with catching up on bills. The domino of effect falling behind on bills and having no money to move would have caused her to be in very dire straits, including possibly losing her new position. She states that she is grateful and thankful that Impact & Edify was able to help her in such a challenging time in her life.
